SUCCESSFUL WIND ENERGY TRADE FAIR IN HAMBURG

From 25 to 28 September, Tinby A/S participated in the WindEnergy Hamburg 2018 trade fair. The entire global wind energy industry meets every other year at the trade fair to keep in touch with existing contacts and establish new connections, as well as showcasing and staying updated on the latest developments in the industry.

For the fourth time in a row, we exhibited at the DWEA stand, the Danish Pavilion, and this year, we shared a 40 m2 stand together with our associated companies Gibo, MM Composite, SP Moulding and Bröderna Bourghardt.

In addition to showing the industry what the SP Group as a whole can offer companies in the wind turbine industry when working together, this fair is of course also about cultivating existing contacts and establishing new connections. And, once again, we have to say that this fair fully met our expectations – it even exceeded them! We are always inspired by the discussions with our contacts in the industry and the new and exciting features that this industry has to offer.

Thanks to everyone that took the time to meet with us or visit us at our stand.

And thanks to everyone that we will now start talking to about new projects. We are very much looking forward to that!

Tinby Skumplast's polyurethane foam panels are used for insulation in refrigerated and freezer trucks, containers, and other transportation units due to the material's low weight and high compressive strength. Our goal is to reach potential customers and showcase our capabilities at the exhibition.

PURfection: New Danish-developed technology aims to create a circular solution for a widely used plastic type.

Polyurethane – also known as PUR – is used in everything from refrigerators, shoes, and mattresses to wind turbine blades and cars. This versatile plastic type makes up eight percent of global plastic production but is very difficult to recycle. Now, a number of large companies and knowledge partners are joining forces to make used PUR plastic recyclable, so it can replace fossil-based polyurethane.

Tinby is exhibiting at the Plastic Pavilion 2023 at the UIA World Congress of Architects in Copenhagen. Together with our sister companies, we are highlighting the importance of the indispensable properties of plastic and the role they play in building, creating, and shaping a greener future.
