Company summer holidays

Summer is here, and the time has come to enjoy some well-deserved rest and relaxation. Tinby A/S will be closed for summer holidays during the weeks 29, 30 and 31.

We will be back on Monday 7th August and look forward to continuing our activities with renewed vigour. We take this opportunity to wish you and your family a wonderful and, hopefully, sunny summer. Enjoy your holidays, too!

Best regards

Torben Nielsen, adm.dir.

Creative holidays?

Tinby A/S has such comprehensive knowhow of materials, development and production that it might be your advantage, as a potential customer, that you involve us during the creative phase already. We could then support you with useful and essential knowledge that would save time and money for you.

Dare you try out your idea together with us? Then feel free to contact our Sales and Project Manager Michael V. Therkelsen. We look forward to hearing from you!

Tinby Skumplast's polyurethane foam panels are used for insulation in refrigerated and freezer trucks, containers, and other transportation units due to the material's low weight and high compressive strength. Our goal is to reach potential customers and showcase our capabilities at the exhibition.

PURfection: New Danish-developed technology aims to create a circular solution for a widely used plastic type.

Polyurethane – also known as PUR – is used in everything from refrigerators, shoes, and mattresses to wind turbine blades and cars. This versatile plastic type makes up eight percent of global plastic production but is very difficult to recycle. Now, a number of large companies and knowledge partners are joining forces to make used PUR plastic recyclable, so it can replace fossil-based polyurethane.

Tinby x Plastic Pavilion 2023

Tinby is exhibiting at the Plastic Pavilion 2023 at the UIA World Congress of Architects in Copenhagen. Together with our sister companies, we are highlighting the importance of the indispensable properties of plastic and the role they play in building, creating, and shaping a greener future.

Tinby Skumplast A/S moved from Tjæreborg to Søndersø in early 2021, where Tinby A/S is located. Michael V. Therkelsen, who is the CEO of Tinby A/S, still holds the overall responsibility for the Tinby Group, including the former Tinby Skumplast A/S. Kim Holm Hansen continues to be responsible for the daily operations at Sunekær.
