Will we see you at the SHK Fair 2020?

On March 10-13 you can meet our sales team in Essen at Europe's leading trade show for sanitation, heating, air conditioning and digital building management. With more than 44,000 visitors and nearly 570 exhibitors (figures from 2018 trade fair), the SHK trade fair is one of the most important meeting places for companies working on energy-saving and sustainable solutions in sanitation, heating, air conditioning and digital building management.

At our 28 sqm booth, we will present an outline of our core competencies in the moulding of polyurethane insulation (PUR) - a raw material that among other things is known for its unique insulation properties. We look forward to presenting a program of CE-marked insulation caps for district heating: our well-known Topo insulation caps as well as several other insulation products and solutions.

The booth will be staffed by our German sales consultant Guido Heine, who has worked with technical sales the majority of his adult life. Guido will be joined by our Danish sales engineer Michael Lind and our Polish order handler Weronika Hemer.

If you want a meeting with our Danish sales and project manager Michael V. Therkelsen during the fair, you can book a meeting with him at mvt@tinby.dk.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Tinby Skumplast's polyurethane foam panels are used for insulation in refrigerated and freezer trucks, containers, and other transportation units due to the material's low weight and high compressive strength. Our goal is to reach potential customers and showcase our capabilities at the exhibition.

PURfection: New Danish-developed technology aims to create a circular solution for a widely used plastic type.

Polyurethane – also known as PUR – is used in everything from refrigerators, shoes, and mattresses to wind turbine blades and cars. This versatile plastic type makes up eight percent of global plastic production but is very difficult to recycle. Now, a number of large companies and knowledge partners are joining forces to make used PUR plastic recyclable, so it can replace fossil-based polyurethane.

Tinby x Plastic Pavilion 2023

Tinby is exhibiting at the Plastic Pavilion 2023 at the UIA World Congress of Architects in Copenhagen. Together with our sister companies, we are highlighting the importance of the indispensable properties of plastic and the role they play in building, creating, and shaping a greener future.

Tinby Skumplast A/S and Tinby A/S will merge as of June 21, 2022.

Tinby Skumplast A/S moved from Tjæreborg to Søndersø in early 2021, where Tinby A/S is located. Michael V. Therkelsen, who is the CEO of Tinby A/S, still holds the overall responsibility for the Tinby Group, including the former Tinby Skumplast A/S. Kim Holm Hansen continues to be responsible for the daily operations at Sunekær.
