Tinby develops and manufactures polyurethane solutions. We have 45 years of experience in working with polyurethane, and our core capabilities are moulding, surface treatment and processing of polyurethane products.
We are the leading supplier of polyurethane solutions in Denmark and have production sites in Denmark, Poland, China and the USA.
Our capabilities cover a large part of the value chain – from design and development to production and distribution of components and complete systems. We offer services like assembly, finishing, packing and shipping.

Being a supplier of both components and complete solutions, we master a wide range of technologies, including:
Moulding
Our machinery include moulding machines with capacity from 100 grams to 100 kg. Among the moulding technologies we use are 2C-moulding, insert moulding and in-mould coating (IMC).
Finishing
We also perform other work on components such as decoration, embossing, glueing and chip-cutting.
Surface treatment
Our surface treatment technologies include in-mould coating and painting with polyurethane paint.
Assembly and complete system supply
We offer assembly, packaging and labelling of components or complete systems. Through our global network of regular business partners we are able to source the components needed in complete systems.

In our experience, a product’s success is created at the development and implementation stages. Tinby guarantees that our projects bring the optimal solution to completion on time and in the right quality. We have extensive experience in managing complex projects. We have experience in both large and small outsourcing projects and in the development of new components as well as complete systems.
International polyurethane supplier
Launching a project, we set up a project organization that works on the project throughout its planning, implementation and maintenance stages with weekly reports to the customer. The project organization consists of a project manager and a project team of experts in quality management, process engineering, materials properties, automation, tools, construction, design, logistics and other fields. The project organization ensures an efficient planning, coordination, problem-solving and implementation of the project with ongoing reports to customers.
Design
The quality and price of a finished polyurethane product depend on its design, materials, tools and the process. We ensure the optimal product, from initial concept to finished design and complete systems.
From idea to design
We use different forms of evaluations, simulations and proto type manufacture that ensure the optimal solution and development process. Our many years of experience and our standardized methods provide solutions that optimize quality and production price.
Tools
We source tools from an established network of manufacturers in Denmark, Sweden, Poland, the Baltic countries, Portugal, Taiwan and China. Our tool suppliers are carefully selected on the basis of our many years of experience and collaboration with them. We make great demands with respect to quality, reporting, documentation and delivery precision.
Manufacturing of tools
Our own staff supervises the tool manufacturing process through frequent status meetings and follow-up visits and through weekly reporting to the customers. Project managers from Denmark supervise the manufacture of tools sourced from Europe, and we have permanent staff in China to supervise the production of tools in the Far East. In addition, project managers from Denmark are involved in large projects.

At Tinby, we offer post-processing and finishing of the customer's products.
